I went to the Tremont x Del Campo x Whalehouse Pop Up….. Let’s Talk About Why More Brands Need to do this…..

Tremont had curated the most amazing space that really showed the ‘vibe’ and ‘energy’ of the brand. What they did with their Long Island golf course collection was amazing. This showed all the amazing things that they can create.

As a buyer this was so amazing to see, because I was able to see how products were merchandised and how to create a new level of accessories that really tell a story. My goal with anything in the golf shop is that is a direct reflection of the culture, vibe and history of the club. Tremont showed in this pop up that there are so many ways to tell these stories and get these ideas across.
I wish more vendors would do this because this not only is beneficial to D2C but also Wholesale Accounts. Seeing Tremont in the wild, and an intentionally created collection gave me so much inspiration.

It was awesome to get to talk to the Tremont team too and get a better understanding of them as a brand. Seeing how much time and effort they put into their pop up shows me how much time and dedication they’ll put into our green grass products.

I left this pop up feeling inspired about new ways to merchandise my golf shops and got some great ideas for new Tremont products going forward.

I was visiting Long Island and saw that Tremont and Del Campo had a pop up in Montauk. so I ventured out and went to see it. I had see some content surrounding it on social media, but was amazed at what I saw inside. These brands are just doing it right and other brands need to take notes.

I’ve worked with Del Campo before and can’t recommend them enough. It is such a creative touch to add to your golf shop that truly elevates socks! Getting to see some of their new collections and how they were merchandised was awesome. They will be in our golf shop for years to come and should be in your too!

I don’t expect ‘big’ brands to do something like this because frankly they don’t need to. They don’t need things like this to get their name out there and show people product. But I think if larger brands were to do something like this they would gain new customers and build deeper relationships with current customers.

Getting to know about a vendor we are working with is so important. I deeply value getting to see what goes into design, production and promotion of products. My favorite vendors to work with are those who are so passionate about their product and you can hear that in the way they talk about the brand.

If smaller brands have the means to do something like this it would be so beneficial. Showcasing what the brand stands for, values and product is the best way to succeed in the market in my opinion.
