My 2025 hot takes….. womens golf apparel

2025 was filled with so much excitement and innovation in the golf retail space. Golf is constantly evolving and so are fashion trends but if the industry can strive to find a balance between timeless articles and trendy flares. People are changing the way that they shop- they are building a wardrobe that they can have for years and years, they don’t want to cycle through it every time the trends change. We are seeing so many trends come back around year after year and some trends that are becoming staples. If vendors can find a happy medium between what is “trending” during the season and what will be around forever there would be so much less turnover in the industry. Below are some of the things that stuck with me during the 2025 season!

Favorite Collection:

  • Puma x Arnold Palmer

    • This is such a good collection, it is the perfect mix of basics with unique pieces. The polos are giving luxury for an affordable price. I love the mix of different fabrics and very simple colors in this collection. It is throwing a hint of vintage flare in with more modern and capsole pieces.

Favorite Fabrics:

  • Terry Cloth

    • Sierra Madre’s terry cloth dress drop might have been my favorite of the season. This is such a unique fabric that I haven’t seen much of in the golf space. I think it is a great fall transition fabric. I spent the summer in Massachusetts and wore it all summer- if you’re in a milder climate it is a great summer piece too.

  • Seersucker

    • ForeAll’s entire seersucker line has me in a chokehold. Something about it feels very costal and nostalgic. It reminds me of a little stripped button down, so chic and versatile.

Favorite Color

  • RED

    • Something about a pop of red this year has made me feel whole. It was probably the #1 color in my wardrobe. The brightness and boldness of it was very needed in 2025.

Favorite Prints

  • Gingham

    • Obsessed is an understatement. I think gingham is one of those patterns that will never go out of style. It is simple yet sophisticated. It elevates any outfit. I would say its a step up from stripes and when done right it can be worn for any occasion.

Favorite Shoes

  • Adidas shoes found their way into my closet this summer. Their golf shoes are incredibly comfortable but the colors are what do it for me. Having such a wide selection of colors takes outfits to a whole other level. You can take such a plain outfit and make it something interesting with a pair of colorful shoes.

Favorite Accessories

  • Silk scarves will forever be my favorite accessory. Around the neck, around the waist, as a bracelet, on a bag, in the hair, around a hat. There are so many ways to add a scarf to outfits and they did not disappoint this year. It is such a great way to add a pop of color and introduce another texture to an outfit. Such a simple way to make a very simple outfit a little more interesting.

Favorite Hat Trend

  • Trucker Hats made have made a huge splash in the entire retail industry. Every boutique has them, every coffee shop and store is putting their brand on a trucker hat. I think even in the golf space they have done really well. Trucker hats as opposed to regular golf hats just tend to make things more interesting. If you haven't caught onto a theme yet- I want my outfits to be as interesting as possible. Wearing trucker hats with little golf phrases, or something witty is a great way to spruce up an outfit.

There were many great fashion finds to come out of 2025, these are just a few that stood out to me. Women’s golf apparel is trending in the right direction. There have been a lot of improvements over the last few years and I can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store.
