what i want to see in 2026:

There is actually so much I would like to see in 2026. The golf retail industry needs to continue to find the perfect balance between fashion and function. There will continue to be a demand for a cross functional wardrobe, allowing consumers to buy apparel with multiple functions; golf, tennis, work, elevated activewear, and more. Vendors are also now having to compete with Amazon and other sellers that are cracking the market of golf apparel at a way lower price. Brands that are succeeding and that are able to compete with Amazon are succeeding because of brand loyalty as well as having something that makes them stand out.

  1. Parke x ?????

    • I want to see this so bad, and in general I want to see with golf apparel brands collaborate with other non-golf brands. Things like sweatshirts, polos, jewelry. There are so many popular brands out there that could draw great attention to some smaller vendors with a great collaboration. Sierra Madre did just drop mockneck crews with matching skirts which will be really interesting to see how they wear and fit. But I have been dreaming of a Parke Sweatshirt that says “Golf” or “Fore”, if someone wants to make this happen with me please let me know.

  2. Lace!

    • This might be a stretch but one of my favorite pieces that I added to my everyday wardrobe this year was a lace skirt. It is so versatile and chic. Something about a little lace trim on a skirt or a polo is just something I need in my life. I loved seeing scallop detailing this year and think this is just another way to elevate a very basic item!

  3. Green is the new blue.

    • Everyone knows that blue is the color of golf. It is the staple color in every golf shop, every golfer owns so much blue. Not that blue will ever go away but I think green has made a huge climb this fall and that it is here to stay, many people are considering it a “new neutral” and I am people.

  4. Bold colors.

    • This is definitely on the horizon in 2026, we have seen it already. As popular as neutrals have been and will continue to be I love seeing pops of bold and bright colors. These high energy colors add another element to an outfit. Having a pop of color is so fun and great for spring and summer. Colors I am excited to see are: teal, fuchsia, red, and bright yellow.

  5. Course to Cocktails to Office to Wherever

    • We have seen a big increase in cross functional wardrobes over the last few year, I hope that continues into 2026. A huge thing for me when I am buying pieces for my wardrobe is how many times will I be able to wear it and to how many functions can I wear it to? I will gravitate towards a top that I can wear on the course but also can wear to work, and can wear to dinner. All of this boils down to elevating golf apparel. Making it look more tailored and cohesive.
